Twenty-five years ago, Otto Duke was born and raised in San Francisco and comes from a profoundly honorable lineage. Three generations served with distinction in the United States Armed Forces for the protection of our country and the U.S. Constitution. It was great-granddad Loram Pollock, U.S. Army 1940 patriotic duty to serve during World War 2.

In 1998 the death of John F. Kennedy Jr. in a plane crash was devastating for Otto's Irish mom. Suffice it to say, Otto was raised to focus his career on humanitarian causes similar to John F. Kennedy Jr. who has always had an interest in working with the underserved populations and founded a nonprofit group called Reaching Up. That being said, Otto at 15 years of age volunteered with the Tenant Rights Association PAC, FPPC #1328440 to advocate for the renters at risk for homelessness. Essentially, Otto rose through the ranks of the Tenant Rights Association PAC to be appointed President of the PAC in March 2023. Most significantly, Otto led the campaign against Mayor London Breed and MOHCD officials and won a huge victory for thousands of renters on the brink of eviction. Read more at www.sftenantpac.com

During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Upperclassman Otto Duke and other students risk their lives delivering food packages to prostate cancer survivors living alone during the shelter-in-place order.
Today, Otto Duke serves as CEO of Prostate Cancer Resource, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency founded 25 years ago in San Francisco. At this point, Otto is focusing on recruiting prostate cancer patients eligible to participate in UCSF's NX-1607 in adults with advanced malignancies. The Phase 1a/1b oncology study is designed to evaluate the safety and anti-cancer activity of NX-1607 in patients with advanced malignancies. Noteworthy, Lea Suzuki, a reporter, for the San Francisco Chronicle reported on March 14, 2014, about June Jordon School for Equity sophomore Otto Duke, 15 reciting from memory as many digits on PI Day. Needless to say, Otto became an analytical intellectual.

Otto "the Duke" campaign message to voters is to stop voting for Matt Haney, State Assemblymember, District 17 who doesn't give a damn about your safety; has no vision; no plans and nothing will change except regurgitating the same stuff. Voters should be outraged by the partnership between ASM Matt Haney and Kim Kardashian to introduce bill AB 1226 proposal for leniency for inmates at tax-payers' expense.

WHY I AM RUNNING
FRESH VISION NEW APPROACH PROBLEM SOLVER
Dear Fellow San Franciscans:
If there is anyone who wonders why I sought this seat, I say are you feel safe walking the streets of San Francisco. Crime is rising. Homelessness is rampant. Businesses are moving out. You deserve better representation in the State Assembly, District 17.
Presently, ASM Matt Haney, the embattled lawmaker who has made a mockery of the judicial system is the target of multiple investigations for wrongdoings by the following: (a) FBI (read the enclosed PDF version of the Probable Cause Statement-Crime) (b) California Assembly Legislative Ethics Committee (read the PDF version of the complaint).
These ongoing investigations will make it difficult for projects to benefit the constituents to pass given the specific nature of the wrongdoings including the report to the FBI and the profound betrayal of the oath of office,
Complaint to FBI
Complaint to California Assembly Ethics Committee
Complaint to California Assembly Ethics Committee
The purpose of the above-mentioned complaints was made in the best interests of State Assembly District 17 constituents. Such actions are legal and necessary to hold a rogue lawmaker accountable. "No one is above the law." U.S. President Joe Biden.
In case you missed this. It appears that due to the above-mentioned investigations, the new California State Assembly Speaker Rivas demoted ASM Matt Haney to Majority Whip. Haney was lobbying for the Chairman of the Judicial Committee. Source: CA. Politico. email: degardiner@politico.com
On March 05, 2024, Presidential Primary, voters have to choose between ASM Matt Haney whose policy towards leniency for criminals is on display with his partnership with Kim Kardashian, and Otto Duke who is tough on criminals and proposed a bill to create an FBI task force to work with the police to stop crime.
Quotes
From my Irish-American mom: "A man is known by the company he keeps."
Finally, incapacitation which involves incarcerating offenders in jail or prison, sentencing offenders to house arrest requiring them to wear electronic monitoring devices, and making them check in at day reporting centers helps reduce crimes by removing the offenders.
I will seek support from the California Police Chiefs Association to get criminals off the streets.
Matt Haney wouldn't participate in a debate with Otto Duke, a time-honored tradition of political campaigns to ensure that voters can learn about the candidates's positions on important issues. Haney ducking a proposed debate by Otto Duke is disrespectful and avoids questions about the FBI probe in conjunction with the California Assembly Legislative Ethics Committee investigation involving Matt Haney's multiple wrongdoings. It should be noted that certain compelling irrefutable overwhelming evidence within the complaint expressly contained sufficient probable cause to classify Matt Haney as a suspect. Ultimately, the voters will have to decide between rogue lawmaker Matt Haney and Otto Duke's new vision, new approach, and a problem-solver who is above/beyond reproach.

CEO AGAINST CANCER
Prostate cancer kills every 13 minutes and breast cancer kills every 8 minutes. I serve as a CEO Against Cancer for a nonprofit and I know the devastation this disease imposes on individuals and their families. I pledge as the next Assemblymember representing State Assembly, District 17 in 2025 to fight for funding to encourage the investigation of innovative cancer treatment and detection for the most difficult-to-treat and understudied cancers including research that will speed the translation of discoveries into reductions in mortality.
RESPONDING TO QUESTIONS FROM SUPPORTERS.
(1) Requests for photos of GiGi the therapy dog (retired)
(2) Otto's granddad, a WW2 veteran resides in Henderson, Nevada. He will be visiting San Francisco on March 05/2024
WOMEN'S HUMAN RIGHTS: ABORTION.I support women's ability to access safe and legal abortion. That being said, I believe abortion is morally acceptable and should be legal under any circumstance. Indeed, without a doubt, the 14th Amendment protected abortion as a fundamental right.
CLIMATE CHANGEI agree that climate change is a threat to our planet and must be addressed through government action on the issue. It is a fact that by replacing polluting gas appliances with clean electric alternatives, we can improve air quality and safety in our community, lower energy bills, and help mitigate the worst impacts of climate change. I subscribe to the point of view that single-occupancy vehicles are the largest source of carbon emissions in California, To achieve a substantial reduction in transportation-related GHG emiision, I recommend the use of public transit as essential to reducing carbon emissions. As the next State Assemblymember, my top priorities are supporting long-range planning efforts at state and local-regional levels, including ConnectSF and Plan Bay Area. Coordinating with San Francisco Task Force 2045 and supporting AB 1184, which would tax ride-hail trips in San Francisco and use the revenue to fund transit. Suffice it to say, that I will be an ardent supporter of Transit-First projects and the Transportation Fund for Clean Air program.
PLEDGE TO FIGHT DOMESTIC TERRORISM AND HATE CRIMESCalifornia law recognizes that certain crimes are more serious where the victim(s) is singled out because of their actual or perceived race or ethnicity, religion, or association with a person or group. These offenses are referred to as hate crimes and can serve as a stand-alone crime under California Penal Code § 422.6, as an aggravating factor under § 422.7, or as an enhancement under § 422.75.
That being said, at this point, I will ask California State Attorney General Rob Bonta to investigate the Arab Resource and Organizing Center and Tides Foundation for engaging in domestic terrorism and hate crimes citing the Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, Title 18 U.SC. § 249. Lest we forget April 01, 1933, the nazi regime organized a boycott of Jewish-owned businesses. I dare say that antisemitism is still with us. Albeit, the sad reality, is it is the pro-Palestine organizers, Arab Resource and Organizing Center in collaboration with the Tides Foundation (fiscal sponsor) organizing politically motivated campaigns intended to intimidate the Jewish communities. As the next State Assemblymember, I will introduce a bill to amend California Penal Code §§ 667.5(c); 1192.7 (c) adding hate crimes as a felony to the list.
